1970 Hess Fire Truck Pumper w Box Battery Card Insert Hoses Ladders Not Working

This started the whole Hess truck line and it is a well made, detailed toy truck. The light does NOT work when I inserted a new battery. If you are a tinkerer, I think you could fix it. Wheels also in nice shape.
