This is a vintage French military plaque from the carrier Clemenceau. It is made of heavy brass and mahogany wood. It depicts a fierce lion head and the carrier name CLEMENCEAU. It served the French Navy from 1961 to 1997. Measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Weights 2 lbs. Please see pictures for better description.
