US Army 702nd Tank Destroyer Btn, Normandy, France, June 11th, 1944. The U.S. 702nd Tank Destroyer Battalion, initially equipped with T70s (M18 Hellcats) and later re-equipped with M10s (and subsequently M36 Jacksons with 90 mm guns), landed at Omaha Beach on June 11, 1944.
