Sales started very slow for this ’64 model because it is thought that after kids had seen the ’63 Toblerone Van with the cool Trans-O-Lite headlights, this new model just didn’t look very exciting. It is believed they created only a few thousand pieces in different color variations to try to boost the sluggish sales.
