Vintage MARION pressed steel/tin construction steam shovel/crane toy with working mechanical functions. Features original black and red paint scheme with MARION decal on front housing. The winding mechanism raises and lowers the bucket, and the secondary pull string operates the release door on the bottom of the scoop to dump contents. A fantastic early industrial construction toy with great display presence. Condition: Vintage preowned condition with age-related wear throughout including scratches, paint loss, oxidation, surface wear, and areas of discoloration consistent with age and use.
